Like most artists, we were starving; starving to express one's self.  What better way but to share our deepest expressions deriving from our drastically changing culture but through apparel and accessories.

We are grateful to have the opportunity to share a piece of Guahan and it's strong and diverse people with you.  In 2008, the brand was created because something was missing within...within the soul. Saina Ma'ase! 

Guåhan Soldier Clothing has one mission. If we are able to assist you in expressing your true being through clothing and apparel, then we are doing our job.  

There is definitely something special about the Island of Guåhan (Guam). Could it be the salt infused air, the heat/humidity or the genuineness of our people as well as our beautiful brothers and sisters of the Marianas?  Who knows.  If you have been here, you know what we mean.

If one studies back to the early 16th Century, he or she will learn that the people of the Marianas have been struggling to keep their identity as "ONE PEOPLE" meanwhile expressing gratitude for the insurmountable knowledge and opportunities visitors and settlers have bestowed upon them.  This is what makes Guåhan and their neighboring Islands so unique and special. It is rare to find a more resilient and humble group of people.

For us here at Guåhan Soldier, the two words combined are sacred to us.  "Guahan" is defined as "We have" in our native Chamorro languge and "Soldier" means "To push doggedly forward."  We as a human race all possess a Soldier in us and if we can remind you of this gift through our designs and concepts then the purpose of our being as a brand will continue to exist!  Thank you for the opportunity!
